Megachoerus latidens
Taxonomy
Megachoerus latidens was named by Troxell (1920) [tentatively referred]. Its type specimen is YPM 10009, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is French Creek, which is in a Chadronian terrestrial horizon in South Dakota.
It was recombined as Archaeotherium latidens by Storer (1996).
