Katosaxoniapteron brauneri
Taxonomy
Katosaxoniapteron brauneri was named by Prokop et al. (2023). Its type specimen is Museum am Schölerberg Pal1242ab, a nymph, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Piesberg quarry, "Flöz Dreibänke" (Museum am Schölerberg collection), which is in a Westphalian D lacustrine deltaic claystone in the Flöz Dreibänke Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Katosaxoniapteron.
