Taxonomy
Feroculipodus obtusidentatus was named by Ma et al. (2023). Its type specimen is CNU-HET-MA2015040, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (CNU collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Feroculipodus.
