Taxonomy
Koonwarrabaetisca jelli was named by Godunko and Sroka (2024). Its type specimen is NMVP103210, a nymph, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is NMVPL425, Koonwarra, which is in an Aptian pond claystone/siltstone in Australia. It is the type species of Koonwarrabaetisca.
