Republicopteron douseae
Taxonomy
Republicopteron douseae was named by Archibald et al. (2022). Its type specimen is SR 00-04-06, a tegmen, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Republic, locality B4131, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Klondike Mountain Formation of Washington. It is the type species of Republicopteron.
