Taxonomy
Palaeochrysa minor was named by Jepson and Makarkin (2023). Its type specimen is USNM PAL 722497, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Kishenehn (Greenwalt collection), which is in a Lutetian lacustrine - large shale in the Kishenehn Formation of Montana.
