Merychyus verrucomalus

Taxonomy
Merychyus verrucomalus was named by Stevens (1970). Its type locality is Main Fork of Cottonwood Creek, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial horizon in the Runningwater Formation of Nebraska.

It was synonymized subjectively with Merychyus elegans by Kelly and Lander (1988); it was synonymized subjectively with Merychyus minimus by Lander (1998).
