Latheticocarcinus brevis
Taxonomy
Metahomola brevis was named by Collins et al. (1993). Its type specimen is YCM-GP854 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is YEZ-7, junction of Kanajirisawa and Obirashibe-gawa, which is in a Turonian marine siliciclastic in the Saku Formation of Japan.
It was recombined as Homola brevis by Schweitzer (2001); it was recombined as Latheticocarcinus brevis by Schweitzer et al. (2010).
