Dimorphotomaria fassaensis
Taxonomy
Dimorphotomaria fassaensis was named by Monari and Dellantonio (2024). Its type specimen is MCP1148, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sample M6, Pian dei Fiacconi, Marmolada, which is in an Illyrian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Sciliar Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Dimorphotomaria.
