Santalacites minor
Taxonomy
Santalacites minor was named by Christopher (1979). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Plate 9, figs. 10, 11 (sample R1011B, slide 2, coordinates 37.5 x 101.8), a microspore, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is R1011B, which is in a Turonian/Coniacian pond siliciclastic in the Raritan Formation of New Jersey.
