Mustelavus priscus
Taxonomy
Mustelavus priscus was named by Clark (1936) [genotype; in Scott and Jepsen]. Its type locality is Peanut Peak, which is in a Chadronian terrestrial horizon in the Chadron Formation of South Dakota. It is the type species of Mustelavus.
It was recombined as Plesictis priscus by Simpson (1946) and Macdonald (1970).
