Taxonomy
Listriodon dukkar was named by van der Made et al. (2022) [ZoobankLSID.urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act:03E63D53-F626-4A75-B671-3E3CFA0B43D9]. Its type specimen is PUKP-1, a maxilla (left maxilla with P3 -M3 ), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pasuda, which is in a Tortonian terrestrial sandstone/siltstone in the Sandhan Formation of India.
