Militocodon lydae
Taxonomy
Militocodon lydae was named by Weaver et al. (2024). Its type specimen is DMNH EPV.13618, a partial skull (partial skull, includ- ing posterior maxillae and dentaries, RP/p4–M/m3 and LP/ p3–M/m3, and partial neuro- and basicranium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Corral Bluffs (DMNH 18898), which is in a Puercan fluvial horizon in the Denver Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Militocodon.
