Taxonomy
Squiresica yooni was named by Kiel et al. (2023). Its type specimen is NRM Mo 204829, a valve, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Goedong-dong, which is in a Miocene marine horizon in the Duho Formation of South Korea.
