Neotoma fossilis
Taxonomy
Neotoma fossilis was named by Gidley (1922) [assigned to subgenus Paraneotoma by Tomida 1987]. Its type specimen is USNM 10524, a partial skull (Portion of a right maxillary carrying the anterior cheek tooth and the alveoli for middle cheek tooth), and it is a 3D body fossil.
