Toarciconiopteryx dipterosimilis
Taxonomy
Toarciconiopteryx dipterosimilis was named by Makarkin and Ansorge (2024). Its type specimen is LGA 2752, a hindwing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Klein Lehmhagen pit, Grimmen (LGA collection), which is in a Toarcian offshore shale in Germany. It is the type species of Toarciconiopteryx.
