Niglarodon petersonensis
Taxonomy
Meniscomys petersonensis was named by Nichols (1976). Its type locality is Peterson Creek (Middle MV 7303), which is in an Arikareean terrestrial horizon in the Peterson Creek Beds Formation of Idaho.
It was recombined as Niglarodon petersonensis by Rensberger (1981) and Rensberger (1983).
