Taxonomy
Phacops potieri was named by Bayle (1878) [partim 1850. Ph. latifrons, BRONN; Verneuil
= 1853. Ph. latifrons, BRONN; Guéranger [p.]. Its type specimen is Pl. XXVI, fig. 1 and is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Phacops (Phacops) potieri by Morzadec (1969).
