Cyphaspides pankowskiorum
Taxonomy
Cyphaspides pankowskiorum was named by Chatterton et al. (2020) [= 2014 Cyphaspides sp. Lawrence and Stammers, p. 311]. Its type specimen is UA14316 (complete articulated carapace) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Close to the highway (south side), west of Jorf, near Erfoud, which is in an Eifelian deep subtidal wackestone/mudstone in Morocco.
