Sibiritiidae was named by Abushik (1990). It is not extant. Its type is Sibiritia. It is the type family of Sibiritioidea.

It was assigned to Sibiritioidea by Liebau (2005); and to Leperditicopina by Abushik and Evdokimova (2016).
