Cretopleciofungivora simpsoni

Taxonomy
Cretopleciofungivora simpsoni was named by Zhang et al. (2024). Its type specimen is NIGP 177889, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (NIGP collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Cretopleciofungivora.
