Taxonomy
Osbornoceros osborni was named by Frick (1937) [genotype]. Its type locality is Osbornoceros Quarry, which is in a Hemphillian terrestrial horizon in the Chamita Formation of New Mexico. It is the type species of Osbornoceros.
