Paakniwatavis grandei
Taxonomy
Paakniwatavis grandei was named by Musser and Clarke (2024). Its type specimen is FMNH PA725, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tynsky Quarry, which is in a Wasatchian lacustrine - large limestone in the Green River Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Paakniwatavis.
