Avithrips yellae
Taxonomy
Avithrips yellae was named by Ulitzka (2024). Its type specimen is MU-Fos-128/1, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Tilin amber (Ulitzka MU-Fos collection), which is in a Campanian terrestrial amber in the Kabaw Formation of Myanmar. It is the type species of Avithrips.
