Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
H. de Bruijn and J. E. Meulenkamp 1972The M1 and M2 of D. affinis cretensis are of about the same length as those of D. minor minor and D. minor brevis, but wider. The lingual part of the anterocone is more weakly developed than it is in these species, while the mesoloplis are shorter. The M1and M2 of D. affinis cretensis are smaller than in D. affinis affmis and D. affinis mutilus. The size and proportions of the M1 of D. affinis cretensis are like in Cricetnlodon hartenbergeri, but thejr differ by their narrow undivided anterocone and relatively low ridges.
