Taxonomy
Textrix lineata was named by Koch and Berendt (1854). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Berendt collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.
It was recombined as Captrix lineata by Petrunkevitch (1942) and Dunlop et al. (2013); it was recombined as Esuritor lineata by Wunderlich (2023).
