Taxonomy
Proneuronema damzeni was named by Makarkin and Wedmann (2024). Its type specimen is MAIG 6804, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Rovno amber (MAIG collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Ukraine.
