Anubiscarpon andersonae
Taxonomy
Anubiscarpon andersonae was named by Smith and Manchester (2020). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is UF 263-17007, a seed/fruit (three valves with cleft on center valve, persistent perianth and thick pedicel), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is White Cliffs Junior , which is in an Eocene lacustrine shale in the Clarno Formation of Oregon.
