Perchoerus nanus
Taxonomy
Thinohyus nanus was named by Marsh (1894) [also said to be 1892]. Its type specimen is YPM 11784, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was synonymized subjectively with Perchoerus probus by Pearson (1923); it was considered a nomen dubium by Wright (1998); it was recombined as Perchoerus nanus by Hay (1902), Scott (1940), Prothero (2009), Prothero (2021).
