Taxonomy
Orthophlebia picta was named by Lian (2024). Its type specimen is NIGP206328, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Anyao, Jiyuan City, which is in a Callovian lacustrine shale in the Yangshuzhuang Formation of China.
