Taxonomy
Ano ona was named by Vršanský (2024). Its type specimen is PIN 2554/146, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2554), which is in a Kimmeridgian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.
