Taxonomy
Blattula summa was named by Vršanský (2024). Its type specimen is PIN 2904/107, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2904), which is in a Kimmeridgian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.
