Diegopteryx pulcherrima
Taxonomy
Blittersdorffia pulcherrima was named by Martins-Neto and Vulcano (1997). Its type specimen is CV-2080, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (Vulcano collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
It was recombined as Diegopteryx pulcherrima by Bueno et al. (2025).
