Taxonomy
Bucardia moreauensis was named by Meerk and Hayden (1861) [DISTRIBUTION: Campanian; Western Interior.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Clisocolus moreauensis by Russell and Landes (1937); it was recombined as Glossus moreauensis by Gabb (1861), Speden (1970).
