Petracloeon carolinensis
Taxonomy
Petracloeon carolinensis was named by Sroka and Gattolliat (2025). Its type specimen is AMNH NC-VK261, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Neuse River amber, which is in a Campanian terrestrial amber in North Carolina. It is the type species of Petracloeon.
