Taxonomy
Largusoperla vena was named by Chen and Tierno de Figueroa (2025). Its type specimen is CZT-PLE-MA102, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (CZT Chen amber/Jiangsu University collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
