Fulica montanei
Taxonomy
Fulica montanei was named by Alarcón-Muñoz et al. (2020). Its type specimen is SGO.PV.23220, a limb element (left tarsometatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Taguatagua 1, which is in a Pleistocene lacustrine mudstone in the Laguna de Tagua Tagua Formation of Chile.
