Taxonomy
Pseudopisidum hibiharaensis was named by Tashiro and Kozai (1989). Its type specimen is KSG 4220, a valve (internal mold of right valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is North of Doiban, Monobe-mura, which is in an Aptian estuary/bay sandstone in the Hibihara Formation of Japan.
