Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
J.M. Pons et al. 2016Radiolitid with conical, elongated RV presenting seven, or a few more, well-developed acute or swollen costae limited by deep furrows. Growth lamellae are deeply inclined inward. The outer shell layer has normal cellular structure and a variably developed compact marginal part. Radial structures are two down-and-outward folds of the growth lamellae with a subdivided distal end; the ventral one is shorter than the posterior. At the outer shell surface, they appear as two very close, short costae and a long costa with a concave distal end, respectively. The interband is limited to a deep furrow. The LV has a concave margin, fitting with the RV folds, and a more or less convex center. There is no ligamental ridge.
