Taxonomy
Antheria was named by Wu and Zhao (1974) [Sepkoski's age data: C Step Sepkoski's reference number: 1240]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Petalaxidae by Hill (1981); to Rugosa by Sepkoski (2002); and to Kepingophyllidae by Wang et al. (2006).
