Smilodectes mcgrewi
Taxonomy
Smilodectes mcgrewi was named by Gingerich (1979). Its type specimen is UW 5021, a mandible (left mandible with P3-4 M1-3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kistner Locality V-16, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.
