Taxonomy
Veterator angustus was named by Wunderlich (1988). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Wunderlich collection), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
It was recombined as Neoveterator angustus by Ceccolini and Cianferoni (2021).
