Placoelytrum tuberculum
Taxonomy
Placoelytrum tuberculum was named by Lin (1997). Its type specimen is NIGP 129044, an exoskeleton (body), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Sample P749, Peng Chau island, which is in a Berriasian/Valanginian terrestrial siltstone in the Ping Chau Formation of Hong Kong. It is the type species of Placoelytrum.
