Sthenictis lacota

Taxonomy
Potamotherium lacota was named by Matthew and Gidley (1904). Its type specimen is AMNH 10810, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Paroligobunis lacota by Peterson (1910); it was recombined as Brachypsalis lacota by Gregory and Downs (1951); it was recombined as Sthenictis lacota by Webb et al. (1981) and Baskin (1998).
