Taxonomy
Anthracoblattina macucai was named by Lara and Cariglino (2026). Its type specimen is CRI-PI 1, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Fossil locality 1, south Sierra de los Llanos, which is in an Asselian lacustrine shale in the Arroyo Totoral Formation of Argentina.
