Taxonomy
Microphorites curtipedis was named by Zhang and Wang (2025). Its type specimen is CNU-DIB-MA-2015153, an exoskeleton (wing), and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (CNU collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
