Tatmanius szalayi
Taxonomy
Tatmanius szalayi was named by Bown and Rose (1991). Its type specimen is USGS 21654, a mandible (fragment of left dentary with p3-m1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS D-1784, which is in a Wasatchian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Tatmanius.
