Taxonomy
Deltatherium baldwini was named by Cope (1882). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was synonymized subjectively with Chriacus pelvidens by Rigby (1976); it was recombined as Chriacus baldwini by Cope (1888), Scott (1892), Osborn and Earle (1895), Matthew (1897), Hay (1902), Hay (1930), Matthew (1937), Van Valen (1978), Tsentas (1981) and Rose (1996).
