Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
P. E. Morse et al. 2019Differs from all other species of Teilhardina in having a mesial cingulum weakly present on P3, and in having the weakest M2 buccal cingulid. Further differs from T. brandti and T. asiatica in having a P3 paracone lower than that of P4 and weaker conules and cristae on upper molars, particularly the M premetaconule crista. Further differs from T. magnoliana and T. brandti, and resembles T. asiatica, in having an M2 trigonid of subequal width to the M2 talonid, as opposed to wider.
