Nimravides hibbardi
Taxonomy
Pseudaelurus hibbardi was named by Dalquest (1969). Its type specimen is TMM 41261-3, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Coffee Ranch, which is in a Hemphillian terrestrial horizon in Texas.
It was recombined as Nimravides hibbardi by Rothwell (2003), Antón et al. (2013).
